Equality Charter Middle School’s Field Trips
May 30, 2017
Last week was filled with exciting and educational field trips for our middle school scholars. Our 6th graders went to the Liberty Science Center where they explored exhibits and learned about germs, light and sound, animals, and human senses. They also participated in a “Crack the Case,” laboratory workshop where they learned how to fingerprint, blood type and look at shoe prints in order to solve a fictional case. Our 7th graders headed to Manhattan, where they went to the MoMath museum and learned about math through many different mediums. Finally, 8th grade spent a day at the Bronx Zoo where they got to see animals up close, and learned about predators vs. prey in our environment.
